MG TD Issues

I have a 1952 MG TD that I restored over the years and, while it looks and runs very nicely, I have been plagued by a problem with the fit between the hood and fenders, e.g. when the hood is lowered there is a gap of approximately 1" to 1.25 inches between the bottom of the hood and the fender, which makes it very difficult to latch the hood.
Has anyone encountered this or can anyone recommend a fix?

Welcome to the forum! Yes, post specific questions in the MG forum, but as long as you're here, tell us a bit about yourself. (We already know you have a TD! )

Welcome to the BCF TIDY TD! You've come to the right place for help with your issues.

As others have advised, if you post your questions in the MG Forum you'll likely get a better response to specific stuff, but thanks for introducing yourself and I hope you enjoy this great resource.
