T-Series MG TC Steering Box Question

I'm trying to find a source for a modern TC replacement steering box. I was told someone is selling this setup. Driving with the original was explained to me like being in a pinball machine(considerably worse than new).
This is not my car.
Thanks for any assistance.

The original Bishop Cam unit is good when it's properly adjusted. It will need periodic adjustments as wear occurs. To aid in this matter you can install a Tompkin's kit. If you need the name of a top notch Bishop Cam rebuilder, contact me offline.

If you really want to get rid of the original steering, you can go with a Datsun or VW rack and pinion. There is a gentleman in Australia selling a kit but I don't have his info handy. I would recommend inquiring on the TABC list if you want to go that route.

Thank you for the reply. I don't know what the individual who owns the car wants to do. It is a very presentable car, but I think he wants to upgrade the drivability.
I am not familiar with the TABC list. How do I access that?
