I inadvertently dislodged the "slow-running spring" ( Moss # 62, 372-600) from the carb linkage and despite my best efforts, I just can't figure out where the two ends of the spring attach.
A written reply would be nice, but a photo sent to my e-mail would be even better. mgtc7794@gmail.com. Thanks for your help.

Bob- One leg of the spring goes on the end of the brass slow running control arm next to the washer and split pin, while the other leg of the spring connects to the anchor plate on the back of the front carb. There is a small hole in the anchor plate just for this purpose. The "V" of the spring points toward the engine.

I knocked the spring off accidentally while installing the original air cleaner assembly on 7794 and just couldn't picture where it belonged. Anyway all's well that ends well - the spring is back, the pancakes are history, a new Ampco oiler is installed and the "Roadster Gaskets"silicone valve cover/ push rod cover gaskets are now on the front lines of the War Against Oil Slicks.
