Oh me, more stuff to wade through getting to the hardcore items.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!

Why didn't I ever get kidnapped by the gypsies and sold in the UK?

Who is making plane reservations to go to the auction? I'll take an MGF, rallye wheels and tires, two Sparko seats, another MGF, an engine hoist, a tranny jack, make that 2, enough mat sets to carpet my garage, ...... Don't worry, I have good credit. Trust me.

Okay, this is the wife of that last knucklehead. Don't anyone ever post anything like that again. He's in the fetal position under the computer, frothing at the mouth. Does anyone know of an MG detox site?

Sure. But I think it would involve gypsies...

ROFL! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

As MG/Rover folds, they are auctioning off a lot of the old race-stuff, cars, trucks and other memorabilia.
A real shame....

Such a big story that Hemmings E-News is even covering it:

MG-Rover’s racing history on the block

An MGTF track car is one of more than five dozen vehicles up for auction.

What’s this, two items on MG in two weeks? We know, we know, but we didn’t want you to miss out on this. The remnants of MG-Rover’s sporting arm, MG Sport and Racing Limited, are being auctioned off by Wyles Hardy on March 25 at Groveley Lane, Birmingham, next to the idle Longbridge factory. You don’t need to buy a plane ticket to grab a remnant of one of the world’s great automakers, because Wyles Hardy will be offering a live Web cast, offering you a chance to bid on hundreds of items.
Getting any of the five dozen vehicles up for sale into the U.S. would be a trick beyond the means of most of us, although there are some undeniably wonderful cars for sale, including a Super 1600 rally car raced by Gwyndaf Evans, an MGF ā€œSupersport Californiaā€ concept car, a Bonneville land-speed record car with no engine or transmission, and a 765hp MG Rover 75 sedan. But there are hundreds and hundreds of other items, from parts to promotional materials to boxes of women’s XPower cycling tops. How about Lot 509, ā€œeleven various pneumatic screwdrivers?ā€ Or Lot 881, ā€œeleven various alloy wheels?ā€ Then there’s Lot 98, ā€œfive ā€˜MG Collection’ fine bone China 6-place tea sets.ā€ (If you just want to look at the cars, we understand; check lots 648 through 712.) One caveat: Wyles Hardy will not ship the items, so you’ll have to make your own arrangements with a shipper in the U.K.

I'll take lot # 665 or 668 ... thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Althought, with the amount of body parts I've seen up for auction for the ZR on that site, one of those might be pretty fun to have too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
