My supplier just asked me if I was going to place another order for these shirts, and I realized it has been over a year since my last order! They are just like those sold by British Leyland North America in the late 1970s, and were featured in a variety of ads at that time. They have the red MG octagon on the chest, blue 3/4 length sleeves and are made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. I have sold 132 of these shirts to date, over half of what I am allowed to produce.
I had been looking for one of these shirts for a long time and could not find anyone who was interested in making them. So I decided to make them myself! I found a supplier, who ran this promotion for BL when the shirts were available from the dealers, and his experience has been invaluable in making a very convincing reproduction. I think you’ll agree.
I can get the shirts in S, M, L, XL and XXL. However, I will not order any Smalls or Mediums unless I get pre-paid orders in advance, so I will just order L, XL and XXL shirts. The cost will be $27 by USPS Money Order, $28 by PayPal, which includes packaging and Priority Mail postage to anywhere in the US. For 2 shirts, it will be $50 and $53, respectively. Overseas delivery will be quoted upon request. XXL shirts will be $1 more per shirt.
