MG midget finally finshed

I've found that the pre 66 seats give the most room. The BE seats are not as comfortable as the 62 to 66 seats however.
I'm 6 foot 1 and 200 lb's with long legs. The only thing my spridgets lack IMHO is air conditioning!! I guess if i could give up my trunk I could even fit that!

Kurt.

With a stock 948, I think the choice would be AC or driving, not both at the same time.

I'm the same size as Kurt. When I decided to save a '73 parts car by putting an old 948 in it, the only seats I could find around were an old set of tired '65 seats (the original '73 seats were trashed). Actually, the older seats in Red Rat aren't bad!

For a "Red Rat" that car looks pretty good Nial. Think it beat's Bill M's "Orange Crate"!:highly_amused:

I've always called those seats as being from a 66 but with the model overlaps in those years, who knows.
I've got a car with those and they are far better than the later seats IMHO. I prefer the model before those for giving more room but, I think those are easier on the butt.
I've tried them all!

Wheels are aftermaket 4x100 with adapters.
seats are out of a c5 corvette

Just looked at your pics. There is a serious amount of amazing work there! I love the way you closed in the back. And, your relocated reverse light adaptation is really worth sharing as I can imagineothers might make that mod. I however am interested in the adaptors to get the wheels to 4x100 - any pics? Were did you find them etc. etc. Awesome!
