Hi, I am helping a friend with her 74 MG Midget that supposedly has a 75 Midget engine. It needs an exhaust/intake gasket. Although what I find online doesn't look anything like the ports on the head. There is no ID plate on the block. Any other way to determine what it is? I have pics if that will help and found the code 11B on the left side of the block. That's a California engine, probably 1974/5.

Thank you. I cannot seem to find the gasket needed, not with certainty, so I'll try Permatex. I know, maybe 'hack' but it's worth a try.WAG: Austin/Morris/MG 1100cc. ??
Thank you. I'm in New England and I will try British Parts Northwest. I've already perused their site. Appreciate the guidance. Thanks again!Pretty sure that's a 1275 A-series engine, appropriate for a '74 Midget. The presence of the air injection ports on the heads is a pretty good indicator.
Not sure where you are, but Moss Motors or British Parts Northwest should have the manifold gasket:

Moss part number is 296-630, used on all Sprites/Midgets that used the A-series engine.
