MG Midget Early and Later model rear brake shoes....

Backing plates changed with disc brakes. Single adjustment screw adjusts front and rear shoes. 1 wheel cylinder. Front disc came available 64 or 65. Superior braking. I used a 3/4” MC along with 3/4” wheel cylinders. Key is the grab rear backing plates as well as eBrake rods and balance from donor car and everything bolts right up with great pedal feel and brake balance. If you opt to keep Bugeye rear brakes a switch to Morris Minor 3/4” wheel cylinders helps balance braking and pedal pressure. I had my MC refitted with 3/4” Brass bushings that do not rust. Gerard Did my work but not sure if Not sure if anyone else resleeving in Brass anymore.

I have had several sets of cylinders brass sleeved by http://whitepost.com White Post Restorations. They do an excellent job, including a lifetime warranty. I have never had one fail. My first time was about 30 years ago.
