MG Midget catalytic converter

I am currently restoring a 1977 MG midget and wonder if there is an aftermarket replacement that might work. Or for that matter, one of you out there that happen to be lucky enough to live in a state that no longer requires them cares to part with one. California emissions suck.....

6 mgs to keep 1 running.....

I have one but it meets federal regulations not california. You can order one from Victoria British for $229.95 plus shipping.

For what it's worth, you can still get these from Moss last I checked, although they are expensive. If you think you might be able to use a used one, I'm actually considering getting rid of mine (mine's exempt here). I have the straight pipe but I haven't gotten around to installing it. My car has 30,000 miles on it, so I don't know how well the cat works, just that it isn't clogged. Send me a PM if you're interested.
