MG Midget 1500 Bonnet Prop

Hey

Has anyone changed or modified their bonnet prop, I feel the current one is not strong enough and needs one on the other side .

yes - here is an example

Gas Charged Hood Prop : MG Midget Forum : The MG Experience

I added gas charged struts to the hood because i did not like the prop rod. items needed: 2 - 10MM Ball Stud Bracket - Flat 2 - 10MM Ball Stud Bracket - L shape 2 - Gas Struts #4800 Mount the lower L brackets using the holes for the rubber hood pad
