MG Lifting Points

I was gonna put this post in the tools forum, but I might get more response here. I'm planning on a car lift for the garage and would like some input on which lift would be better for a MG (and a midget). The two lift patterns are:

If you have room for it, I would go for the wider one. That way your not restricted to smaller vehicles. The 101in wide is for 8 foot wide vehicles or less. As an example, A small 1 ton stake body truck is 8 foot wide. The feet on the lifts are adjustable for just about anything. JMHO. PJ
