Not a bad looking car though, but it is a Chyrsler.

Actually, its a Mercedes under that beautiful skin.

That's so, but I'm still not that impressed by the style. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

You'll pay that much for a T-Bird and it can not compare in any way to the mechanics of a Crossfire. Unless you just don't like a Mercedes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif PJ

I saw a white Crossfire convertible at speed y'day - man, was that thing beautiful!

*shrug* I liked the car when I initially saw it too. However, I was a bit less than impressed with the car when I heard there was no V8 option to stick under that loooooooong bonnet.

Trust me - that turbo-ed Mercedes 4-cylinder moves the little car right along!

aroo? I didn't know about that engine option. I know they have a SRT6 option which gains you a Hemi (?) v-6 ...

oops, sorry - its a supercharges, intercooled, 215hp 3.2V6 w/6-speed manual trans that does 0-60 in 5 sec!

The SRT option bumps it up to 330hp!

funny thing is, the first time I laid eyes on it, I thought it could pass for a Benz. Until I started studying the car a bit more, then I started noticing styling cues that aren't found on modern Benzs.

...& that 330hp option has 310ft-lb of torque!

thats some go juice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

And now for something unrelated to the Crossfire.... I read this book also... Two of my three favorite cars were in the book as 'Worst'... Jag XJ6 and MGB.. I have owned one of the former and three of the later... Maybe he has a particular prejudice against English cars??? Not 'Crap Cars'..CRAP BOOK.... Ron

I'm sure the Pinto & DeLorean are in there also......

Conform.....Everyone will drive a Camry, wear a blue blazer and keep their grass exactly 3 1/2" high.

The committee will decided what cars look like from now on.

you mean they don't already?

whenever I cut my grass, I set the deck at 3-1/2" & have a blue blazer...that's as far as it goes!

After setting the cutting height,do you not also have to wear the blue blazer whilst riding the mower? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif
Or is ownership enough?? I have the blazer, but not the mower. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I think ownership is adequate! hehehehe

Thank goodness for that. It would boggle the mind just to imagine all these mowers, set scrupulously at 3,1/2" being driven by guys in blue blazers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

it would be cause for the conspiracy theorists to proclaim the end of the earth!

Hey... when I have my grounds keeper cut my grass on my estate, I insist that he wear a blue blazer, riding britches and riding boots, cut at 3.65", and drive slowly so he doesn't bother the horses in the stable or in the paddock... You don't ACTUALLY cut your own lawn, do you???
Rawly now... Ron
