MG-B Body kits?

Not sure if the MGB speedster is something you'd be interested in:

The MGA offered much more scope for special bodies.

Some of the even looked nice!

I love love love the Jamaican - may be the prettiest kit car ever - certainly on an LBC. and your's is gorgeous!

Rick, that kit still looks like an MGB to me. I know there is a lot of love for the original looks of the B on this board, but I always found the B to look a little too simple and plain. I'm glad so many love it, but I would not spend serious money to build a modified street car that looks like an MGB.

I have had a similar bug and looked into similar cars, probably not as far as you. I too like the Cal Ace idea, with the more svelte Ace body. Looked into the Lotus 11 rep too, partly because I am pretty familiar with what you can do with an A-series (if you want to go that route). The Beck speedster is really neat, would like to have one, nice change of pace from the brit car world I usually travel in. I have also toyed with the idea of a C-type rep (hey a donor Jag six from an old Sedan would be easy to come by), I even had an old Jaguar Moss 4 speed with o/d, but I sold it, probably shouldn't have. I would dump the regular windscreen for Brooklands style. https://www.shellvalley.com/replicas_and_jeeps/jag_replica/

Or a Locost? https://www.locostusa.com/

Saw this today - not sure I love it but, (sort of a Porsche nose) but, interesting...
