Thanks, guys...but I just got in trouble with daughter & wife...grandson who is in his 4th month on earth is rolling over & wants to sit up...Jerri & Shannon both informed me that by the time he's walking I need to have my garage finished & cleaned up because they say there's too much for him to get into trouble with (read: hurt himself) out there as it is right now....another deadline....man....

First one, if I recall?

Here's the thing, there's no way around it, you'll have to do it, but c'mon, if a kid wants to get into something, he eventually will.

I've got 4 kids 18 mos to 9 years- we were way protective with the oldest, now with the little one it's: "if he gets hurt, he won't do that again."

Grandmothers are always like that (my Grandma always told my cousins and I not to play in the barn to the day she died...and the youngest of us was 30 at the time), but parents soon learn the impracticality of trying to prevent every possible thing...at least I did, but then, I'm a Dad who grew up way on out in the country.
