Next June,I'm thinking about going - is anyone
else interested/planning on attending?

We have over 800 hotel rooms blocked at the Tri Properties
(Silver Legacy/Circus-Circus/El Dorado) in Reno. So, I hope that we'll have a LOT of MG enthusiasts swarm Reno from June 13-17!

We hope you will arrive on Monday in order to enjoy the Welcome Reception at the National Automobile Museum that evening. Tuesday and Wednesday are filled with activities; Thursday will be the car show and awards banquet. Begin your trek home on Friday.

Yes..I am driving one of my MGs out to the meet.

The website should be live in December for registration and hotel reservations.

There is also a "Rallye-To-Reno" that begins on the East Coast and ends in Reno. (I have it from a reliable source that there will be something special happening in St.Louis during the rallye as long as the Big Muddy cooperates!)

See https://www.rallyetoreno.com for caravan information and https://www.mg2011.com for registration.

Not sure about work schedule next summer, but I live close by so maybe a day trip for me.

I hope you can make it, Swampers!

This sounds like the Greatest Event ever. I plan to attend and my MG-TD should be ready for the trip by June, I hope. If it is not ready I will tow it behind my Jaguar.
Jag tow MG-TD rear

All British cars and enthusiasts are invited.

I am planning to drive my Midget/Sprite "Crate" there, it should confuse everyone (who cares!)
See you there

I took 5 to 20 to 395 and in to Reno last September and it was fast and easy. Took about 13 hours total door to door.
I plan to use it again in June.

For some reason my wife seems reluctant to travel all that way in the Jamaican. Can't figure women!

We have 6 MGCs registered to date...and about 120 event registrations since the website went live on Sunday afternoon.

I'm pleased to announce that Tim Suddard of Classic Motorsport/Grassroots Motorsport will be our Keynote Speaker at the Thursday night Awards Banquet at MG2011.

Two things - if you are coming down from Renton - Bend Oregon may or may not be on your route

I have some suitable routes to take

And two if you book the rooms through an independent agency and not through the MG Reno website

there is a substantial savings - funny that Kayak comes up as an ad next to the event

just one of many hints

I don't know that this is the case...if you booking at the Silver Legacy, Circus-Circus, or the El Dorado. If it IS the case, I also need to know as those properties would be in violation of our contract.

The event needs you to register through the website for your hotel rooms. Your room reservations help keep the event on budget. Without your room reservation, the event may not be able to provide all of the ammenities that makes an event such as this enjoyable for all in attendance.

Thank you.....

Elva Car, do me a favor. Go out on your front yard and yell
