MG 1100 available cheap - no motor

I've been looking in my area and one came up for sale this weekend. It has no motor or (I believe) transmission.
The body looks ok, but he says the floors are rusty.

How hard would it be to get running gear in there?
Are there any reasonably inexpensive ways to do this?
 
I have extra engine/transmission setup...remember, its front wheel drive...& the engine/trans sit in a subframe thatr usualy comes out with the wengine (think I have one of those)...plus the shifting mechanism is weird .

Having said that, its a great little car - especially the 2-door Sports Sedan!
 
Thanks Tony, a couple in our local MG club have one they have restored.
It really caught my wifes eye.

Floors are easy - nothing other than flat metal welded in...check the outer sills...if they're good grab it!! Its a 2-door!!!

I believe the '66 was a 1300 engine!

He went and looked and theres a lot more rust than he remembered. I'll pass, but thanks for the info anyway.
I'm going to keep looking of course.
