Metallic Golden Beige color needed

My car is having a new frame produced by Jule-Enterprises and it will be ready for paint very soon.
I need to have the formula for "MGB" color if possible and/or a close match.
I've owned my '67 Healey since 1972 and would like very much to redo it the original color that it came with, metallic golden beige with red interior.
Thanks,
Patrick

patric, i dont know why you mention wanting an "m.g.b." color, but i can tell you the paint code used for bj7's from feb. 1962 - nov. 1963, also on bj8's from nov. 1963 - dec 1967. its bg19. ici-3006m, name-golden beige metallic. :savewave:

Anthony,
I referred to it as "mgb" (metallic golden beige) because so many people refer to it as that instead of the "Golden Beige".
I've known about the bg19 code but it doen't seem to have enough info for paint people to work with(I don't know why unless it's too old for their "new books"?).
Thanks for the "ici-3006m" lead.
Patrick

Hi Patrick , what may be missing in the bg19 paint code is the metalic particle sise. Perhaps Rich Chrysler can advise on that point.--Fwiw--Keoke

I have received emails from listers and have gotten quite a bit of knowledge about the color. My wife and I may have to go color shopping this weekend. There just seems to so m any things that affect the color, etc. We have a car in our local club in North Texas that I believe was a "Tanner restored" car and I kinda like the color so I may even pursue that lead to. I doubt that Tanner would divulge their paint color specs though.
Thanks,
Patrick

Just got back over here Patrick. If you have access to a car painted the corect color, then a computer can match it if you take the car to a paint source that does cimputer matching. Mabe your painter knows of such a source.--Fwiw--Keoke
