Last night I was invited to attend a meeting of the Illinois Sporting Owners Association in Chicago, and member RomanH, who haunts the Triumph forum came over and introduced himself.

Coincidentally I had been hearing about his war wounds, received whilst helping someone restore the body on a TR6, before I had met him and put two and two together. Had a drill bit go into his right hand, and tore out a chunk of flesh on his left.

The BCF should have an award for those injured whilst in the course of working on LBCs......

Nice guy, I had a good long chat with him.

And there is a lot of strong enthusiasm for the Triumph marque down there in the flatlands, it was interesting, and encouraging, to see.

Hi Steve,

It was a pleasure meeting you as well!
BTW my hands are fine. The injuries were exaggerated. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
