Indeed, Merry Christmas to all my fellow__if demented__Healey and other interesting sportscar owners!

Here's to another Happy New Year with Healey adventures (and their associated character issues)

So, does anyone have any interesting New Year's resolutions pertaining to the subject of cars?

I don't know if I can pull it off, but I'd like to work on fewer customer cars, and take care of a problem I have with each of my own cars:

-Install those low-friction (Nadella thrust) bearings on kingpins, and get the (new) original tank, a working fuel gauge & trunk trim kit in the Healey
-Dump the coolant so I can replace the sticking thermostat in my '99 M Rdstr (fingers crossed that is why it occasionally tries to scare me by threatening to overheat...).
-Replace the leaking intake manifold gskt on the supercharged M Coupe (I *just* got a SolidWorks dwg of the flange so I can get some__NLA__gaskets made, but I don't have a program to open the file to check it) and in so doing, I want to revamp the entire Eurosport Twinscrew setup with rebuilt & polymer-coated pieces (already prepped a second set of everything).
-Replace the drive-belt idler/tensioner pulleys on my '01 M Rdstr that just started making noise when I start it up from cold.

In every case, I already have all the parts__save for a manifold gasket__to accomplish all those tasks, except for the time; I've already got enough jobs coming in to get through April...

What does anyone else have planned?

Well, I'll be moving to be closer to my elderly folks in Modesto; the SF Bay Area has just gotten too crowded and hectic for this old fart. Before that, I need to get my rebuilt gearbox and OD back in my BJ8 (thanks to Randy for the encouragement to tackle the OD; it's back together and ready for installation when I get the gearbox done). I need to get all that done to have a hope of taking my annual two-week Healey road trip with my BFF in late May.

Then, it'll be mostly looking after the folks; Dad just turned 87 and Mom is 83 and both are getting more frail by the day (it's painful watching my master mechanic father struggle with basic concepts now). They have several classic cars that need repairs and maintenance, so I'll be broadening my mechanical horizons. Oh, I'm gonna see if I can get my FAA medical current and maybe start flying again.

Season's Greetings to All!

Merry Christmas Younes' from all us Pennsylvanians.

Best Wishes to All......
