Funny thing, our daughter's cat, who lved with us for 20 years, loved the Christmas tree. I never knew her to actually climb into it but she would remove low hanging balls and roll them around the hard slate floor. She never broke one either.

Anyone else read the story of the family that brought a Christmas tree
home,& a few days later discovered a baby Owl in it?

Saw that on the news recently.
 
I just got done working 85 hours in the last 8 days,& my Wife is off
visiting her Brothers in Washington/Montana,so not having Christmas here.
 
Boxing day, back into work, had the weekend including christmas day off.
But now we will have to work till 7PM till friday, to catch up, 13 hour days, will be the same next week
as we are having new years day off also.
you cant turn a chicken off, there are three days eggs here waiting to be graded and packed.
 
Not so much to share Christmas gifts as to brag on my daughter. Last fall she purchased a Cricut - which is a computer operated machine which cuts shapes and patterns - VERY popular with the scrapbooking crowd. This is what she gave me:

Each about 8 1/2 X 11 for reference and it is vinyl attached to a backer.

BTW I haven't needed to figure this out but I think you should be able to cut gaskets with one.

I'm not sure the consumer level machines are strong enough to cut through gasket material - we have a couple of them here at the school and they are great on the thin vinyl and paper. I HAVE cut gaskets on a laser cutter which worked fantastically, but that was a $50,000 machine and required periodic visits from an on-site tech to keep it aligned. I expect there is probably something in the range between consumer level and industrial...
