Menu Changes

You may have notices a change to the menu links above. I still have the additional drop down menus for navigating to some forum pages, but now I also have plain links to just about every place on the BCF that you can click on in the main navigation menu above.

Seems some people didn't realize some of these other forum pages existed because they didn;t realize the menu "buttons" held drop down lists. So now you can get to most forum pages from the text links (but the drop dows still work as well if you prefer).

Oh sure, I have only one thing to complain about on this site because it's so perfect. And now you take it away! How rude. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

So long as there's a BCF, I have no complaints!

Will the "suggestion box" be coming back?

On the AH forum someone suggested having a facility for making contributions- perhaps within the BCF store, or as a menu item?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have had that suggested many times, but have resisted the idea of just asking for money without giving something tangible in return. It just doesn't feel right somehow. But I will be adding additional "stuff" to the BCF store which will give members a bit more selection. Anything purchased from the store will provide needed $$ to help defray the cost of operation (and pay for inevitable upgrades in bandwidth and server space, speed, etc). This is a free forum and, while I appreciate any extra cash I can raise through variuos means, I don't want people to feel obligated to having to "pay to play" as it were.

Its one of the great attractions of the BCF is how well it works and its genial management.

I play here a lot, and many others do as well so I'd not feel put upon to provide a little support... though I appreciate it could cause potential tax issues....

Just wondering... is the BCF incorporated? I'd hate to think you'd face personal liabilities for running it....

What little I make here I do report as "hobby" income, but no, I'm not incorporated. If one day the forum is big and famous, and I'm generating sufficient revenue to pay for the cost of incorporating, I may do that - one of these days.

I think that day has come. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

I would agree.

& incorporating or at least developing an LLC isn't that important...my daughter, the lawyer, suggested LLC for me way back when & that's the way I went - protects personal property.
