Just wanted to say thanks to all the Vets who served. Thus giving me the freedom to own and drive my MG. - Bob /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I'll second that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

I think we also should always remember the heros who paid the ultimate price with there lives. For all the freedoms we enjoy today. Bob /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF

Agreed. I don’t have a problem thanking all of our military personnel everyday of the year. From bootcamp to 50 years of service - Active, Reserve, Retired or anybody who has ever worn the uniform for that matter in times of peace or war.

But to me anyway Memorial Day seems more solemn and reverent. Mainly because, unlike Veterans Day that is set aside to thank all Vets – Memorial Day is to commemorate and remember all of our fallen.
