Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge Question????

Does it matter what diameter tubing you use for a mechanical oil pressure gauge? I am using a larger diameter metal tubing and am wondering if the accuracy suffers at lower ranges.

I also have a "T" fitting with the idiot lamp sensor and am wondering if the interaction between the two could give false indications.

I would say no because its a dead head suituation, how ever I could be wrong but unless you went from 1/8 inch line to 1/2, maybe. did you record old line vs new?
