No excuse for this.
Two 1972 Midgets. One is a wire wheel car, the other is supposedly a parts car, but doesn't look all that bad from the picture I've seen.
I'll know more tomorrow, but right now it looks as though I'm going to have to shell out the $250.00 for the pair.

Don't let yourself get robbed now!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Donn, I'm at work and had to upload the pictures to this computer. Here's more, but the only picture of the "parts" car is too large.

durn Jeff, you and Tony seem to just dig em out.

Nice find, Jeff. Always impressed at what y'all can dig out of the woodwork.

I don't dig them out, they come to me!
I don't know if either of them have running engines or not. Don't really care, as I've got running spare 1275's.
Maybe I'll turn the "parts car" into a vintage racer.
Jeff

Donn, I'm limited as to what I can download here at work. When I get home, I'll resize the other two pictures and post them.
Why would you want a radio in a BE??
Jeff

Hay Donn. Share with us why you are in Denmark. Are you Danish? Your English is better or as good as mine, how come.

Danish wife and 12 year old daughter. I moved here in '93 at age 34 from Washington DC. My wife Anne Lise is daughter of Danish diplomat / technical attaché and was born in Glen Cove NY and also lived in DC. (and also personal friend to the Roosevelt clan)

Though very high taxes, it's also a nice place to live.
See here.

But don't get them wrong, Most Danes speak English as good or better than I do.

Makes sence to me now.

Glad you like it, never been there.

Thanks for that, now I feel like I know you a bit.

Parts car.
Maybe I'll pick them up Sunday, if I can find a big enough trailer to do it in one trip. It's 45 miles one way, and my big trailer is full. Time to start asking around, I guess.

I'd do it for you Jeff, but there's a good chance one of them would get left on the trailer, accidentally of course.
Good score sir!

Well done.

Last picture I have. More when I get the things home.
These deals are out there, and I don't go looking for them. A co-worker alerted me to this one.
I talked to the owner, and he said he just didn't have enough time to do anything with the cars. Supposedly, both have running engines. He said he had started the green car this past summer, but it wouldn't stay running without shooting gas into the carbs, and there was a fuel leak somewhere by the tank.
I think I can handle that. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Not too thrilled with the wire wheels, but no matter what, I don't think I'll lose on the deal.

So, now you're pulling a "tony"....hehehe....good score...

The sad thing is, Tony, that I have a hunch that the parts car may be salvageable, too. Then I'll have to find a parts car, and we all know where that leads! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
I'll have to re-do my car count, now. I think this puts me over 20 on the Spridgets alone.
