This sticker is on the windshield of the TF I just bought. To me, it looks like an old club decal of sorts, but I'm probably wrong. Anyone recognize it? Collage ID sticker maybe?? The car will get new glass if it means nothing, otherwise, I'll leave the old glass in. PJ

Take good, crisp digital photo(s)of the sticker, and measurements and have a reproduction made. I believe Kinkos can do this on their color laser printers fairly inexpensively. Photoshop can fill in the missing white areas, etc. That way you can have both a new windshield and the permit sticker!

I left the Dartmouth College parking permit on my GT, even though it had expired shortly after I bought the car in 1977. Don't try to figure British car people.

Thanks Pete! I would definitely like to keep it since it's been on there a very long time. Someday someone might look at it and say, HOLY COW, I know that decal! I'm a little crazy on some things at times, meaning, if I do replace the glass and put on a repo decal to match, I'll keep the glass, frame it and hang it in my study with the appropriate surroundings. Yup, us British car nuts are a little goofy at times. Just ask my wife! :jester:

I actually had that happen, was in a hospital parking lot and saw a Chevette that had belonged to a fellow pastor - had a sticker I knew and the shadow where the "clergy" sticker had been removed. I left a note assuming it was still his, of course it no longer was, but, the garage was 100 miles from where we had known one another and each lived.

I have some window stickers from 82 and 84 on my B which ill be keeping as well as some old stickers on my rear bumper  The rear bumper stickers will unfortunately have to be removed when i get the bumpers painted, but i might try and do what Silverghost mentioned
