Had a call from my friend Ken yesterday afternoon...asking if I had a minute after work to stop by. Thats always a good call!
Hen has restored 5 or 6 sidescreens over the years...and has a beautiful award winning 3B. He has been working on a 72 TR6 that we found about 2 years ago. Got it from the original owner...who parked it in the 1 car garage although it did not run...and parked her MBZ in the driveway! Ken has done a total frame off restoration and it is BEAUTIFUL! Much help has been gleaned from this forum crowd...and the sites of Bobby D and Paul. Although there is a ways to go Ken allowed me to take 3 trips around the block! YAHOO! Will be a couple more months before totally finished...but all of you who have done a restoration know the feeling Ken and I had last night. He has done very fine work...and I hope to post a couple pix soon.
