May have to sell

I've had a 73 tr6 since 75, ran until 86 or so, and it looks like planned restoration will give way to financial concerns. The 6 has always been garaged, original paint looks great and I have a non-matching hardtop in excellant condition. The engine turns, clutch is stuck but overall mechanically its all there, never really been messed with. I know its hard without seeing to determine value, but I would appreciate some insight from you guys as I think because of condition and known history it might be worth more. I posted a picture in the gallery a while back, maybe you can find it. Anyway its a special car and thanks for your help.

Like you say it's hard to say what the market will bear at this time. A lot depends what "comparables" are selling for. But I do know this, you'll get a lot more for it cleaned up and running.

Completely agree with Ken.

Lots and lots of pictures will help sell her.

Compression figures if you can't get her running would be useful information to a buyer as well.

A car that has been sitting that long usually needs a lot of parts and work to get it gong again.

Like has been said, anything you do towards getting it cleaned up and running will help get the price up. Otherwise the price might be quite disappointing.

Paul, haven't you always wanted "His n Hers" Mimosa TR6's?!

I was in Chatt. yesterday. My daughter lives there (Signal Mtn area). Don't need another TR6 but can be talked into it. Excuse to go see the daughter again.

I'll send you a PM
