Hi everyone
I am trying to work out what size master cylinders to use on my late model BN4. The originals are 3/4" brake, 5/8" clutch. Can I use the same size on brake and clutch? Ie: 3/4 or should I go with original sizes?
Thanks
Matthew

At least if you have the original drum brakes, it won't work with the smaller brake cylinder 5/8. I would use the original sizes for both, clutch and brake.

Not much reason to deviate from original unless you've made other changes to the system like different sized wheel cylinders. MCs can be changed to affect pedal feel, but you run the risk of changing pedal travel and in extreme cases can end up having insufficient hydraulic fluid capacity to operate the system.
