I'm looking at the master cylinders removed from my 1959 XK150. The brake master is cast iron while the clutch is AL. Are the soft parts of these masters interchangable? Looks like my clutch master bore is ok; but it is not clean enough to tell at this point. I bet Super Man could not get it clean with brake fluid alone! I will need something that will really clean sticky, gooey seals off the piston and bore; what do you use?
