MGA Master Brake Cylinder Leak

1960 MGA ground-up restoration....completed the rebuilding of my Master Cylinder (Honing, new rubber) installing rubber the correct way...it sat on the self for a month before installing in the car.....then both sides .....brake/ clutch started a slow fluid leak.....****! Had not bleed the brakes or clutch yet...just sitting there! Any suggestions before trying another rebuild kit? Brake fluid is a great paint remover! :rolleye:Have a good holiday weekend!
