Marvel Mystery Oil

I always squirt some MMO down the plug holes after my engine's been sitting a long time, like over the winter or whatnot, before starting it up for the first time in a season. I also use it in my carburators instead of normal 3 in 1 oil, and it's always worked fine for me.

On advice of an old timer 25 yrs ago and now being old timer myself use MMO in my 6: Change oil 4 times a year(2.5K/3 months which ever comes first) two of those changes subsitute one quart of MMO for 5 & 3/4 qrts needed + tad in dash pods also twice a year add pint to full tank of gas, 1st couple drives white smoke residue left on rear bumper, similar scenario with ZZDP after initial drive. May be a psychological thing but do know my 6 never has had that sewing machine tic tic and when engine rebuilt in 1990 shop said internally it was the cleanest engine with 150K miles on it they'd seen, 2011 due to another 150K+ (345K) considered having head rebuild mechanic said not needed, I know it's a Mystery!

Great product. I've used it for years mainly in the engine oil but certainly in the gas too. Suppose to have some cleaning capabilities in the carbs and injectors along with upper engine lubeing. If you never had hardened valve seats put in I heard it suppose to help lube the valve seats. But I also understand that as long as the valve seats have never been ground that the lead is still in the seats and should never have to do anything. Also in the tank with internal fuel pumps it helps to lubricate them too.
In the oil it will raise the temperature rating of your oil and do a great job of keeping the oil passages clean and clear. I had a 1987 Volvo 740 turbo that I used it religiously and when I sold it to my neighbor it had 356,000 miles on it with the original turbo in it. He drove it for 3 years before getting rid of it. Now that's a testimony!
