TR4/4A Martian TR4?

Hi Guys,
I did a search here but found no info so I thought I'd post.
I was watching some vintage Netflix TV the other day and came across the first season of "My Favorite Martian" (1963-66). On the show Bill Bixby's character drives a light colored 1962 TR4 (broadcast was originally in black and white so I don't know the color). As this was kind of an iconic show back in the day, I was wondering if anyone knows what became of the car, or is it simply lost to the sands of time?

I just looked it up on the Internet Movie Car Database, but judging by your picture you already found it there too. There's a plate on it "California"? Hard to tell for sure, but you can read the number, don't know if that would help in tracking it down. Maybe that looks light blue or white, was there a beige color too? Greg L. (different Greg L.)
 
Well, it wouldn't be the Bullitt Mustang - but still would add some minor cachet to a TR4.

Back in the day not much attention/value was attached to such connections. I recall seeing Emma Peel's Lotus Elan for sale in R&T for $7,000. Alas, I did not have 7Gs.
 
Thanks glemon, I'm sure the plate was a Hollywood prop, rather than an actual registered plate. 1962 was the last year for that early style Black on Yellow plate. In '63 they changed to the well known Yellow on Black plates. Even if that had been an original plate, there would be no DMV record of it today.

The hood looks like it has the short bubble, which would make it an early TR4, likely a 1961.

With the mirror in the way , now I am less sure if it is a short bubble. The short bubble on the hood does not extend to the rear of the hood. It would be about 7-8 inches short of the rear of the hood. The book shows the short bubble was used up to CT6429. I am guessing that would have been in late December 1961 or early January 1962.
 
I guess it was late 70s or early 80s when I saw an ad for Emma Peel’s Lotus in Autoweek/Competition Press. Didn’t have the cash either!

Oh,my, I'm glad I was unaware of the sale of Emma's car. I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. Even if, to finance it, I had to sell my younger son to a sausage factory (something I had been ready to do many times, even without the incentive of the Lotus!)
