The next British Car Day at PAG/Ford was scheduled for
May 2008. Per Ford's request we are changing the date to Saturday March 08, for a very special reason, see below.
This event is in Irvine, Calif.

The following is from FORD.

Richard, great to speak with you today! As we discussed, we have the top design executives from Ford worldwide coming here for a design review in March. Several of them are coming from England, and are keen enthusiasts of the cars we all love -- Healeys, Triumphs, Jaguars, Morgans, etc. We'd like to change the date for British Cars from May 10 to <u>Saturday, March 8</u>, and we will invite the design execs to come in for the weekend to join Cars & Coffee. I'm sure they will provide lots of interesting conversation for the participants!

We will have signs made, and will set aside as much space as you project you'll need ... the 40-car lot beside the design center is a given, and more spaces in the "front rows" across from the coffee service can also be reserved.

How hard is it to get into - if I drove all the way down
there,would I be turned away?

No one is turned away. It's a drive-in gathering, not a car show. The worst that would happen is if you got there too late and the parking lot was full. You'd have to find somewhere else to park, that's all.

All types of cars are welcome but there are occasionally "theme days" announced by the hosts of the gathering.

And that does happen a lot on nice, sunny days so be sure to get here early.
