Map light hookup question

I installed the very nice radio console I got on Ebay in the '71 yesterday, which replaced a ripped and worn out one that was in there. I cleaned everything up from the old one, installed the new stereo and put the bits in. Problem is.. the map light that was on the old one is one of the larger ones, (Moss #158-920) and the holes on the new console are for the smaller one (Moss #144-100). I called Obsolete and they are going to see if there is a good used one at their shop, if not, I will ask here and the other place if one is available from any members.
What I need to know is, will the wiring that I have now be the same for the smaller lamp or will I have to change that somehow? Perhaps it would be easier to make an opening for the other one and instal it instead?

Thanks

Paul

Paul,
I may have the lamp you need. I ordered a new map lamp (complete package) last fall from Victoria Motors for my 1970 B. What they sent was a lamp which was larger than the one I wanted to replace. This could be the one you are looking for. I will check it out to-night and double check the part number for you. No guarantee but it may be what you are looking for.

Paul, I sent you the picture of the map light I have to your e-mail. Did you receive it?
