Dose anyone know if there is a Mani Flow Exhaust dealer here in the US?

Todd, APT in Riverside handles Maniflow, but I don't know if they would have anything for the 'C' or not.
They're at www.aptfast.com or 1 800 278 3278.

David Anton is probably who you would want to talk to.

I spoke with APT and they have what I’m looking for. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gifThe question is now do I get the mild steel or stainless steel? If price was no option, I would obviously go with the SS. But the mild steel is going to run about $900.00 and $1,500.00 for SS. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gifOuch!!!! Now bare in mind this includes a header, but still. They said these systems hold up great, in fact they don’t even stock the SS. Also being in AZ, moisture is not a big problem. Help!!!

I prefer SS, but that's really expensive. Living in AZ would make my choice the standard steel. You can always blast it and recoat with hi-temp aluminum paint.

Have you thought about spending your money on a ported head ? Any muffler shop can build you an exhaust using glasspacks or turbo mufflers that whould equal the flow of the Maniflow system. I can't imagine any custom exhaust whould give you more than 5hp at the wheels over the factory system.

I would spend my money on a ported head which will give you 15-20 hp at the wheels and also give you better gas mileage. That means in a few years the head work will pay for itself. An unleaded conversion will also save you some coin at the pump, using 89 instead of 93. Peak hp and torque will come on sooner too.

David,
That's an interesting twist. I can get a lead free head w/ bronze guides and gas flowed ports for about $1,200.00 US. It also appears they have a Downton exhaust kit for the vehicle. By getting just the header ($390.00), I could have a local shop make the rest. Although their whole system is only an additional $328.00 so it may pay to do this one instead. Do you really get that much benefit from a head like that?
