If things go according to plan, I am going to shoot all of the non-exposed parts of my tr6 body tub, right after Christmas.

By non-exposed, I mean, the engine bay, interior of the car and those parts that will be covered by the wings.

So...
How do I go about getting the correct color? I don't have a clean sample that I can get matched.

Here's a website resource that lists Mallard Blue - shows a code of PPG 44666

Ask the paint shop for ICI 8796 or PPG/Ditzler 44666.

I forget which one offhand, but my shop was able to cross-reference one of those.

Randall is that your stag?
Yup, that's it, at the 2005 VTR convention IIRC.

But come to think of it, I had them modify the color slightly (added some metalflake) so perhaps I shouldn't have posted the photo.

No problem; I like it! Actually, there are a lot of Triumph "factory" colors that might look just as good if not better with a touch of metallic or pearlescence or the like, as so many modern paints have, and it wouldn't detract (much) from "originality"!
