hey Hondo tried twice to make Avatar can't get it up (the avatar that is) .

Hondo

Just used the link to make my avatar. Very fast and simple.

Thanks

That site makes it very convenient, but it is making the avatars square. They don't have to be. Squaring up might change the proportions of what you want. BCF has a max size of 80x80, and mine is 80x60. Any resizing software can be used.

JP,

Thanks for the tip. That worked really well.

Art,

I don't see a link for your site?

Paul,
No problem....some times I can be such a geek. I hope that translates into a really nice car as my project moves forward.

So the red one is the TR8? Got a site for that one?

I think Art was referring to the site Hondo put up.

I was just really commenting on the fact that the site that the OP linked to automatically squared off the avatar, which you might not want done. Max size for BCF is 80x80, so as long as you stay within that size you will be OK. I didn't link to any re-sizing program, as I figured that there must be a bunch of them on the internet that will just re-size to anything you want.

I'd imagine you should be able to find one to your liking here.

 It also gets to be a resource pig on Basil's server.

JP,

The red one is the TR8 and no site yet...that will be a winter project.
