Makes me want to cry !

Don't cry Gil. Not much harm done really. I see a rear shrowd, fenders and doors. The rest doesn't look like AH. Does that help?

Not sure what brings people to do these things !

Gil,

You've got to keep things in perspective. You can't look at that Healey with today's value system.

Undoubtedly those changes were made back in the early 60s when the Healey was largely regarded at just another cheep attempt at a real "sports car". I only paid $500 for mine in the early 70s.

Few today would make those changes to a Healey in order to turn a $50,000 car into a $5,000 car.

Back to perspective... Remember, there was a time when the majority of people in this country thought it was a good idea to not let women vote and farther back, when people thought it was OK for people to own other people.

Tim
