The alternator bracket and the uprights for the front suspensions on Mark II and III Cobras have a manufacturer's mark on them which I can't identify. The mark resembles the letter"D" with what appears to be an "E" and another "D" inside the larger "D". Anyone know who made these parts? Thanks!

(Other friends worked in Texas for Caroll, too.)

...a friend's CS was in "Automible Quarterly" once, a while back. Tony Hogg bought it. Silver with a black hard top...

Mk.II Cobra? That'd be, what, a coil sprung car, correct? Anyway, any bracketry for the alternator (or dynamo) would be a Ford item, most likely. I believe that they came with the engines when they arrived at Shelby's premesis.
