Saw this post over on Facebook, thought I'd share it here:

Venus Sargo Hernandez: I am trying to locate a 1973 Jaguar XKE Red for a new TV Show that we are filming here in NY. Let me start by introducing what our company does. We supply vehicles for Motion Pictures, Commercials, TV Show, Music Videos and Photo Shoots. Here is list of some shows that we have done in the past and currently working on: We supplied vehicles for the TV Show the Sopranos, Law & Order Criminal Intent, Sex and the City 2, It's Complicated (was in the theaters over Christmas of 2009), TV Show Mercy, and Damages. You can take a look at our website and see more info on our company. www.movietimecars.com

The movie 52 Pickup with Ann Margaret and Roy Scheider had a series I E that was a twin of mine. It got blown up at the end!

They would have to pay big bucks for me to turn loose of one of my cars (might as well buy it) before I would let it be hauled away for someone else to use.

I have had a few dealings with film makers and crew. They can have little respect for anything except getting the film done.

:iagree:

this is a: "GO FISH!"

Or: "You can HAVE my <insert LBC of import here> when ya pry my cold, dead fingers from th' wheel".

Well Doc :iagree: and I think all the comments are generally valid. However,I have done many shows with my cars. The secret I think is to also get hired as the car's mechanic/driver on location and travel with it. Then if the Key grips go to do something stupid you can slap their hands.--Keoke

That'd be the ONLY way someone would get their mits on any car of mine... but I'd have a cricket bat slung on my belt as a "reminder".
