Just installed a Jack Knight close ratio gear set. New thrust washer & rear washer. Using the thickest ( 0.161 ) front washer and I still have 18 thou end float on 3rd gear. What gives? BTW it is a 3 syncro MGA gearbox. Anyone else had this problem /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif
