What do you read to get your monthly fix.

Is there a LBC magazine?

Surely get tired of looking here and finding nothing, come on guys. Post.

I get Road&Track (Peter Egan is a hardcore British car guy).I also get Autoweek (found a deal on eBay for $9.99
for 3 years + actually came through!).
I used to get Practical Classics & Classic Ford, but when
the renewel came up it was $100.I can't justify THAT much.

I have a subscription to Classic Motorsports. Used to be British Car Magazine. They cover a wide range of stuff, but they are doing a full restoration on a Midget. I like the magazine because they give every marque a fair shot at the limelight. Sometimes the auction reports get kind of annoying. Yeah, I think Ferrari 250GT's are cool too, but do I need to know that one sold for $3mil in Monterey this summer?

When I was searching for a Sprite I joined the Austin-Healey Club of America and got their magazine for a year. Nicely done layout, but seems to be more of a chronicle of the cars' histories, not a lot of tech stuff or motorsports.

Vintage motorsports is a good one too. They cover all the Vintage racing events, which are usually saturated with LBCs. And highlight some truly stunning pieces of racing history.

Classic Motorsports, Grassroots Motorsports, Classic Car, Practical Classics

Classic Motorsports (unfortunately its only bi-monthly, but excellent), and the British publication "Classic & Sports Car" (aka "C&SC").

Speaking as the new editor of the Austin-Healey Club of America's magazine (Healey Marque), I can tell you that I am very, very open to publishing Sprite-related material. We have a Sprite columnist (Steve Bell, in case anyone here knows him), but he doesn't write for each issue, and ideally I would like to include at least one Sprite feature in each issue.

I am currently working with a few members on some Sprite stories for future issues, but believe me, I want more!

So for any potental authors/contributors out there, please let me hear from you! My direct email address is editor@healeyclub.org

By the way, our upcoming February issue features a striking photo of a Bugeye on the cover -- I really doubt that you've ever seen anything remotely like it; it's truly frame-worthy. I hope you'll consider joining the AHCA, and I especially hope you'll become a magazine contributor -- all of our contributors are just like you and me: owners/enthusiasts writing for the benefit of their fellow owners/enthusiasts.

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
