The September 2007 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car has John Malinick's Long Door TR2 on the cover! Way to go John. Our very early cars are finally getting some respect!

I also enjoyed Richard Lentinello's column, "Those Terrific TRs where he talked about the Triumph Registry of America. John's car looks beautiful on the cover, and there is a very interesting article on Thompson Speedway. I sent a letter to the editor congratulating them on a great issue and requesting more Triumph coverage in the future.

Just to add a slight drift to this topic,
What's happened to Triumph World??
Haven't been able to find it for 2-3 months at the local newsatnd. They say they've ordered but not rec'd.
TrWorld site is useless

It is a great magazine. I am not sure how they could possibly cover more Triumphs. Almost every issue mention TR somewhere. Between Richards buildup of his Spitfire, articles on english cars, buying cars under $7500, driveable dreams, and now a restoration. Even my car was in the "in your garage" section back this spring.

I am sure they appreciate the comments. I would like to see more Italian (Fiat, Lancian, and Alfas) and French cars in the magazine.
