LUST! (or, why it is important to proof read your letters!)

I am in the process of sending some recent NAMI trainees their certificates for completing a state training to become peer program leaders. I decided to send a brief personal note along with the certificates. In the last line of the letter I meant to add, "Best of luck in your future NAMI endeavors as a certified NAMI Peer-to-Peer leader." I had printed three or four of the letters when I noticed that auto-correct had "helped" in an unintended way. Instead of saying "best of luck," my letter read "best of lust". Yikes!! Man, am I glad I caught that before I mailed the letters!

Not a typo but a "talko"...... I had a friend that did not have a very good command of the English language since it was not his native tongue. One day he went to his doctor since he had a bad sore throat. Grabbing his neck, he announced to the doctor that his "testicles" hurt. The doctor replied "up there?"
My friend mixed up "testicles" for "tonsils"

I was never a good speller while in grade school I never got every word spelled right on test each week. But one week I did only to find out I mist one word spelled wrong my name. My teacher would give stars on the board for how well each student did each week. I guess to make us try harder. at the end of the year she would give us the strip with the stars for the year. mine was blank. Could not do that today. Madflyer
