Never eat your lunch while setting on the boardwalk in Atlantic City! We were building one of the casinos there and lunch time came around. Those of us who have worked there for some time knew about this situation and how to stay away from it's results. A couple of workers went and got a pizza and brought it over to the railing on the boardwalk, sat down, opened their pizza and started to eat while watching the girls walk by.
Nice scenario right?!?! Welllll let me clue you in as to why you never eat your lunch while setting down on the boardwalk! There are light poles all along the walk. They overhang about 6 feet over the boardwalk. We, who know about this situation, never set under the lights. These two guys didn't know about the sea gulls roosting on top of them. The gulls have no pride when it comes to mother natures calls. They just hang over the edge and "PLOP"! You guessed it, right in the middle of the pizza! The guys got so mad, they threw it out on the beach. About a hundred gulls were waiting! The only thing left was the box and the guys were informed, if they don't go out there and clean up their mess, they'll be fined. Two, not so happy campers! We all got a big laugh out of it and waited until another unwary customer showed up. HaHaHaHa, hehehehe And one did!
