Lug nut help

My DPO had put some fuggly aftermarket rims/tires on my B. I've purchased some nice rostyles, and want to get them on my car. The lug nuts I have won't work with the Rostyle rims. I'm going down to the local Autozone to pick some up. What size do I need? Metric or Standard? I haven't purchased lug nuts in years!

IIRC: 1/2", 20 T.P.I. But double check, as my pea brane may not hold up under scrutiny. Rostyle's had tapered receivers and "closed" top chrome nuts.

Good luck!

Thanks!

I'm taking one of the old lugs with me, but I know most of the places have the studs in packages, so you can't "test" them.

Then BEG. Tell 'em you're stranded 'cause all th' wheels fell off at the same time, (just had new tires mounted) and the wife is angry 'cause you were takin' her Christmas shopping!!! You're facing death itself if you go back empty handed or with wrong nuts....

Hey, stranger things have happened.

Go to a NAPA dealer they have then in openable boxes and are willing to try then. We have Les Swabb here and they are very helpful.

...just remember to look confused, and talk FAST!

Good Luck!
