Lucas Starter Model for 3000 Mark II, BT7

What is the correct Lucas starter for the 1962 3000 Mark II, BT7? The Moss catalog references 25521B-D for earlier cars and 25578A for the later cars.

My Lucas parts guide doesn't list the Mark II.

My BMC parts catalog lists the 25521 for 100-Mark II and lists the 25578 for the Mark III.

Thanks in advance.

Well,Haasepm :

It seems to me that the Moss catalog and

your BMC catalog are in agreement. ?

I should have been more specific as Moss and BMC are showing different part numbers for the Mk 2

Moss shows:
25521 B-D for BN1, BN2, BN4, BN6
25578 A-B for BN6, BN7, BJ7, BJ8

BMC Fast Moving Spare Parts Book shows:
25521 for Mark II
25578 for Mark III

I was planning on getting a spare rebuilt, while there are still shops that do it. While I know many have upgraded to the high torque starters, I want to stay original - for better or worse

Yeah, rebuilding your original starter is not rocket science
just be sure the shop is a good one,
