I'm looking for the part numbers for a Lucas distributor cap for a DM6A dizzy. I have found a NOS cap with the following reference numbers .. DDB166 And 418861. Is this a match?

Hi John,
The only reference I found for the DDB166 was for an Aston-Martin. There are some differences between the DM6 & the later 25D6 distributors that would probably make the caps non interchangable. If it is side entry & fits your distributor, it's "probably" ok.

Thanks for the info. The cap looked interesting when the bid was about $20 but it ended up going for $86 + shipping from the UK. I might need to start making counterfeit Lucas parts!
