Lucas Headlights - Just got this from VB

Darn, I just bought a set of old sylvania halogen headlights on E-bay cause I know them. Someone try these out and let us know how you like them!

Kurt.

They look spot on to the originals I have.
I like that the H4 is molded in as opposed to a sticker
on the originals.
Even the glass pattern looks the same.
They should perform the same and I love mine.

The pilot light is an interesting feature. Put them on a dedicated ignition-keyed circuit for DRLs to help morons see you and so you don't have to switch your headlights on and off driving into and out of mandated headlight usage rural highway areas.

Funny.....my Jag has Lucas sealed beams. Local Brit chap who runs a Brit shop had never seen fully enclosed Lucas sealed beams before.

I just received mine and the quality looks really good. I bought a set with the pilot feature and they came with all 4 bulbs. I'm sure they are not UK made since the tag says the trademark is Lucas Industries, Ltd owned, but no country of mfg. I look forward to trying them out.

Standard equipment on dozens of cars in the 60s / 70s. Must be a youngster!
