Lucas Generator C42 End Caps

I've wondered myself. I'm gonna guess pot metal--similar to the shock/damper bodies--because I've never seen any dissimilar metals corrosion, like you sometimes see at shroud/wing joints.

Stay away from the brand name "Dynamator"! They're made in China and as equipment goes, their junk! I have a new one under the bench that doesn't work! Buy one of the British-made ones. They're expensive, but they look the same as the original dynamos and work as they should. Just an honest tip. PJ
